This blog expresses the thoughts of Fr Ivan Aquilina, a Catholic priest of the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham. Fr Ivan serves the Catholic Parish of Westerham and the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham in the Sevenoaks area. Originally, this group belonged to St John’s CofE in Sevenoaks. They joyfully accepted the generous offer of the Holy Father Pope Benedict XVI for Christian Church Unity in April 2011 (see photo above). The group now meets every Sunday at 10.30am in Westerham Catholic Church to join the local Catholics for Mass. The group meets together regularly and holds an annual pilgrimage to Walsingham.
The group welcomes any Anglicans who are seeking unity with the See of Peter. Opportunities for discernment are provided as is instruction for those
who decide to become Catholics.
