The Prefect of the Congregation of the Doctrine of the Faith (CDF), Cardinal William Levada, has today met the priests of the Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham. After being introduced by our Ordinary, Cardinal Levada proceeded to map out for us the journey so far and gave us encouragement as we bring to fruition all the blessings of the vision of the Apostolic Constitution.
Following a brief discussion Cardinal Levada presided over the Mass of today’s feast and met as many people as he could over lunch in the sunny gardens of Allen Hall. A wonderful day to spend the feastday!
Four years ago today Mgrs Broadhurst and Newton were in Sevenoaks putting me in as Vicar of St John’s. Who would have told us then that four years to the day we would be celebrating with a Cardinal who also heads CDF?
